PARTICIPATE IN OUR STUDY

OUR RESEARCH

We are researchers at La Trobe University and we are seeking volunteer research participants to be involved in a study about people’s motivations within various contexts involving uncertainty. We believe that understanding motivation is important because it becomes possible to understand how humans perceive and respond to uncertainty.

You May Qualify if You…

• Are an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• Are 18 years or older.

Participation involves

If you decide to take part in the research, you would be asked to:

• Read instruction materials.

• Provide basic demographic information.

• Respond to our survey questions.

Your decision to participate in research is voluntary and information shall be collected in a manner that will not reveal who you are (anonymous).

Reimbursement for participation

 There are no additional costs associated with participation in this study, nor will you be directly paid for your participation. However, taking part in this study will afford you the eligible to go into a draw to receive one of three $100 the Coles Group & Myer Gift Cards (1% chance of winning). You will also be providing a great contribution to scientific knowledge that may shape future policies for individuals and communities.

Terms and Conditions

1. The lottery is limited to one entry per person

2. Participants will remain eligible to enter the lottery if they decide not to submit their responses after survey completion.

3. Participant contact details supplied for the lottery purposes (first name, phone number, email address) will remain separate from the survey to maintain participant anonymity.

This project has received ethics approval from La Trobe University's Human Research Ethics Committee (HEC21126). This research receives in-kind support from La Trobe University.
